Look Ma' no plans...

I honestly am unsure why I have chosen to step into this "brave new world" other than to have an outlet for my thoughts. I have been on a quest for over a year to find, absorb, study, and share the many wonderful truths of the Bible.

My friends and family have had to endure what some reformers affectionately refer to as the "cage stage" of theology - where I am not safe to be let out of my cage lest I open my mouth and speak.

I figured it was time to pass this on to the world at large and spare those closest to me!

I grew up in the church and even graduated from a Christian school, but I spent the better part of my life running from the God of the bible and worshiping a god of my own making. (One that didn't make any demands on me and was always there to bail me out when needed.) Through no merit of my own, God chose to bring me to saving grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) and now I cannot help but serve Him and live for Him.

This Blog will serve to chronicle my journey and provide me with a place to share my thoughts, hash out my assumptions, and "talk" through my interpretations of God's Word.

I do not presume that anyone will actually follow along on this quest - but the benefit of this medium is that I can continue unabashed by a lack of interest!
